A mother has angry thousands after revealing her unique approach to children’s birthday party gifts, or rather, her fault.
In a viral video, which has Perth’s wife sitting in the back seat of a car, proudly shows her “present” for a children’s birthday party: a bag full of rags, cleaning supplies, tea towels, dishwasher detergent and cheerful wrap.
“We go to a family birthday party and the last thing I want to do to the child’s parents is to give them a gift for the child who will end up in the landfill and a lot of disorders that he needs to order and clean, so this is my present secret that I like to do at the children’s birthday parties,” according to her.
“I like to wear a bag of rags,” he says proudly, whipping it to show his followers. “So you know when you are at a child’s birthday party and everyone wants to help, but no one knows how to help because they don’t know where none of the cleaning things are.
“I carry cleaning cloths to clean the sticky messes to the party. I carry a cheerful wrap … so you can wrap additional food and put it in the fridge.
“I like to carry a detergent for washing filters because you can bet that parents can be finished … I carry a lot of tea towels because they are really useful and no one knows where to find tea towels in another person’s house.”
Then he finished his video asking his followers: “Someone else likes?”
The video was quickly viral and it was immediately clear that no one else is.
Many even called the “offensive” and “strange” gift.
“Wake up yourself,” a viewer said.
“This is embarrassing,” someone else wrote.
“I run a tight boat and if someone brought this to my house on my daughter’s birthday … I would face. As if I thought my house was dirty,” added a mother.
A different commentator wrote sarcastically: “Wow, these children will be excited”, while another commentator emphasized, “Wow, what a fort.”
“It’s really sad, it’s the child’s birthday, you should spoil the child; if you want to know where a tea towel is, ask the host, it’s not so difficult!” Said another critic.
However, not all reactions were negative, with some gesture defenses.
“Wow, what hateful comments. It is shown that people choose money and gifts instead of help, time and love. That’s why we live in a world full of hatred and war now. People are so judgmental with others. It’s sad, really,” a supporter wrote.
Another added, “You don’t have to take a gift to a birthday, just being enough. Maybe this family does not give presents, have you never thought?”
A third party wrote, “As someone who lives in a seemingly constant state of overflow, I would love this gift. Acts of service is my love language.”

To help solve the debate, we talked to a world labels expert, I Hayes, founder of EtiqetteExpert. Org, who, in nominal value, thought that the idea of women did not sound good.
However, after watching the video and listening to the woman’s reason, she ended up thinking, “all power for her.”
“I can certainly predict that most Australian mothers would enjoy having this woman at her son’s birthday party. It sounds like a woman to” do it “, tells News.com.au.
However, he says the context is key here.
“If you had a child with her, to be the real/main guest guest at this party, it would be a poor label to appear with a” rag bag “and no fun gift for the child,” he says.
“However, it seems that this woman is a little more mature, maybe she is a greater aunt or even a grandmother.”
“What he says is true: families are usually full of plastic toys on a boy’s birthday … And while the birthday boy is certainly a few fun gifts, giving something different, but useful, it is actually a very reflective gesture,” he says.
Hayes states that the real gift here is not the physical bag of the rags, but the fat of the elbow it would provide.
“It is not simply displayed with cleaning items,” he says. “It will be the one that will make fun, dry spills, clean dishes and cover excess food with a cheerful wrap. I will invite you to my next party!”
When saying, he thinks a beautiful card for the child would be a “attentive gesture” in addition to cleaning.
